The bylaws

They are the guide to our values, our goals and the vision we share. They hold together an active, intersectional community.

Who we are: Casa Pride APS is a social promotion association based in Bra (Cuneo, Italy). It is democratic, non-partisan and non-religious, works on a non-profit basis and is committed to the wellbeing and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people.
What we do: We promote LGBTQIA+ culture locally through events, festivals, training and recreational activities. We work against discrimination, violence and prejudice by creating safe, welcoming spaces.
Education and culture: For us, education drives change. We run cultural and training activities for all ages, involving schools, universities, institutions and volunteers.
Wellbeing and self-determination: The bylaws provide for an LGBTQIA+ cultural centre offering psychological support, health promotion, a friendly helpline and artistic and social initiatives, with respect for everyone's self-determination.
Dialogue and alliances: We build alliances with associations, movements, unions and institutions. We want a society where civil rights are guaranteed and inequality and oppression get an intersectional answer.
Rights and participation: All members have the same rights and duties, take part in decisions, vote and can stand for elected bodies. Our model is horizontal, inclusive and transparent.
Volunteering and collective commitment: The association relies on volunteers. Every contribution, large or small, supports concrete social change projects.
